As a self-published indie author, I don't have a social media presence, like Facebook, X, Instagram, etc. Between writing, proofreading, editing, developing book covers, and writing ads for published books, I simply do not have the time to do any of those sites justice. So I would rather not have one than have one that cannot be kept up to date.
